Digital Tire Pressure Gauges HPM5
The digital tire pressure gauge HPM5 does not require calibration. Upon each power-up, the internal microcontroller verifies the sensor's calibration. If the parameters are not correct, the message OFFSET ERROR will appear on the display.
Yes, you can measure pressure in both BAR and PSI. Here are some key specifications:
- Pressure Resolution: 0.001BAR / 0.01 PSI
- Pressure Range: from 0 to 7 BAR (up t 100 PSI)
Cold pressure is the starting Pressure value, while Hot Pressure represent the tire's operating value.
Yes, HPM5 instruments are configurable for both two- and four-wheeled vehicles. You can use the app to change the configuration or through the instrument's menu.
Yes, all Prisma Electronics HPM5 gauges perform automatic barometric pressure compensation.
At each startup, the device performs an internal calibration referencing the current atmospheric pressure. This ensures that the displayed tire pressure values remain accurate regardless of variations in barometric pressure due to altitude changes or weather conditions.
The accuracy of the HPM5 is:
- +/- 0.0025 BAR at Full scale ( 7 BAR ).
- +/- 0.036 PSI at Full scale (100 PSI ).
Because accuracy and repeatability are crucial in motorsport. Digital gauges like the HPM5 provide ±0.0025 BAR precision, automatically save data, and sync with the Prisma Electronics App to download and compare readings between sessions.
Yes. With the Pit-Stop and Pressure-Shot functions, you can instantly measure and store Pit-In and Pit-Out tire pressures without pressing any buttons — ideal for quick tire checks during races or driver changes.
Prisma Electronics APP
- 1. Press the Wireless button on the HPM5. The display will show CONNECTABLE. At this point, your HPM5 will be visible in the app.
- 2. On the APP, press Connect Device.
- 3. The name of your HPM5 will appear. Click on it to complete the connection.

Tire Temperature Pyrometer
The infrared pyrometer measures the surface temperature without contact, while the probe pyrometer measures the internal temperature by penetrating the material.
Troubleshooting
The battery type of the HiPreMa 4 - HiPreMa 5 products line is CR2450. The average battery life is about 2 years. The display shows the battery charge status. Use only good quality batteries: SONY – DURACELL – PANASONIC.
