Pressure Offset

This feature allows you to set an offset value for the tire pressure, hiding the actual tire pressure. This is useful, for example, in the pit lane or on the starting grid, when you want to hide the exact pressure value for strategic reasons.

Pit-Stop mode

UNIQUENESS
Pitstop mode allows you to quickly measure and adjust tire pressure during a pit stop without pressing any buttons. Insert the gauge, adjust the pressure if necessary, remove it, and the initial pressure and adjusted pressure are saved.

Pressure Shot®

UNIQUENESS
Automatically saves hot tire pressure without pressing a button. Simply attach the gauge to the valve and the data is saved. Zero stress in the pit lane.

Pressure - Temperature sequence

Pressure Offset

This function allows you to set an OFFSET value for the pressure, hiding the actual value. This is useful, for example, in pit lane or on the starting grid when you want to hide your actual pressure. When the OFFSET is active, the display shows the modified value along with the OFFSET indication, informing you that the displayed pressure is not the actual one but rather the OFFSET value you previously set has been applied. This function can be quickly activated or deactivated at any time using the quick function buttons.

Pit-Stop mode

Target Pressure Adjustments Enabling this feature causes the instrument to display the PIT symbol on the screen. During a pit stop, it is essential to measure and record the pressure upon entry to the pits and then adjust it to the target pressure (for example, after a driver change). Insert the instrument, adjust the pressure if necessary, remove it, and the initial pressure and adjusted pressure are stored.

Cold-Hot Pressure

By default, each session records the cold and hot pressures, along with the difference between them. However, when the HOT function is activated, the session stores only four pressure values ​​(or two for two-wheeled vehicles). When enabled, the HOT symbol appears on the display. For example, if you want to measure only the Pit-in pressures, activating the HOT function will save a session with only the four pressure values ​​recorded.

Pressure - Temperature Mode

Automatic Pressure and Temperature Measurement mode, when activated, allows the instrument to automatically switch from pressure measurement to pyrometer mode for measuring temperature at tread points, following a predefined sequence you have previously set.
How it works
Once activated, the instrument displays the sequence you have set. For example:

Aluminum Air chuck

We have verified that air loss during pressure measurement is not caused by the air inside the hose, but by how quickly the wheel valve opens and closes. With this chuck, the valve is opened to a minimum. Air loss is limited to just 0.001 bar per measurement.

It is essential to have an instruments capable of measuring tire pressure and temperature without technological limitations. Both K-Type Thermocouple probes and Infrared sensors can face limitations in certain circumstances.That's why we have developed a Dual-Technology instrument specifically for racing tire specialists.

Needle probe sensor
The needle probe is ideal for measuring tread temperature at specific points, such as areas affected by blistering or graining. Its only disadvantage is that it is not as fast as an infrared sensor.

Infrared Sensor
The infrared sensor measures tire tread temperature extremely quickly, in less than 0.5 seconds. Furthermore, thanks to its narrow FOV of 35°, you can use it to measure temperature at specific points or measure the average temperature distribution across the tread.

Automatic sensor selection
The instrument automatically sets the temperature sensor. If the needle probe is connected, it takes priority over the infrared sensor. If it is removed, the instrument automatically switches to infrared mode. You can also switch manually by pressing the MODE button.
