Step 1: Check Current Firmware Version

Before proceeding with the update, it is crucial to check the current firmware version on your HPM5 instruments. This information will help you determine if an update is necessary and which version to install.

  1. Power Off the instrument 
  2. Press and HOLD ON button until the display shows Firmware Version. Current version is Firmware 5.0.7
  3. If the current version on your instrument is older than Firmware 5.0.7 continue to Step 2.

Step 2: Download the Latest Firmware

If the current Firmware version of your instrument is older than Step 1 please Download the latest Firmware version on your device.

Step 3: Install the Firmware Update

Ensure that your HPM5 instruments are almost charged at 20%. It is also recommended to download sessions stored on the instruments to prevent data loss during the update process.

  • Power ON the instrument.
  • Press Wireless Button to start discoverable from APP.
  • Connect the instrument with APP.
  • Press Update Firmware.
  • Select the file FW_HPM_07 downloaded on your device.
  • The Firmware Update start.
  • Wait until the process end.

Step 4: Check installed Firmware

After successfully installing the firmware update, verify that the new version has been applied to your HPM5 instruments.Repeat the Step 1 to check if the current Firmware on your instrument is the last one.
